I have researched macro and close-up photographyto find out the things to consider when taking close-up photographs of subjects, in order to take a good, clear and crisp photographs.
1) Use a self-timer or shutter release cable This helps to eliminate camera shake from pressing down the shutter, making sure the photographs are completely still and not blurry. 2) Use a tripod This also eliminates camera shake from holding the camera and pressing down on the shutter, and allows the set to be moved around without the composition being lost. 3) Focus Select a manual focus setting on the camera so that you can decide which part of the image to focus on and draw attention to. 4) Composition Give the image a main point of interest, and keep the background simple so it doesn't draw attention or make the image less visually striking. |
